I didn’t examine the list closely enough to notice, I must admit.

Have not yet seen “The Secret of Kells” so it’s hard for me to judge. But “Up” was just so damned charming…it has my vote.

I’ve only seen the trailers for “Logorama,” but what a clever idea – based on the trailers alone, I am assuming that’s the winner since I’ve never seen anything quite like it. That’s really hard for me to stay! I adoooore all of Nick Park’s work, so I feel like I’m cheating on ol’ Wallace and Gromit by saying anything else but “A Matter of Loaf and Death”.

The entire crop of short films entered this year were second rate. None of these is a gem.

I don’t recognize any of the short films except for A MATTER OF LOAF AND DEATH. And honestly, I didn’t like that one (a huge drop down for Aardman).

I’m very pleased that KELLS got some recognition. This should help gain Tomm Moore some extra credibility. But it seems like UP is going to win best Animated Feature. Its got the jump on everything else.

Just watched the Wallace and Gromit.
I’ve read so many negative reviews from animation folk that I was sure it must be something I’d like, but no, it’s not great.
Most disappointing is the need to revisit scenarios they’ve done before.
Lovely characters that aren’t done much justice this time.

    Ok.
    I’ve watched the rest now.
I don’t even know what to say.
