One Plus Hub Takes on Manhattan

On Thursday October 16th, 2008, Jill Gilbert of One Plus Hub Productions in LA and Aaron Simpson of Cold Hard Flash, held an industry networking event focused on flash animation at M1- Lounge in Manhattan.  Since it was primarily a networking event, I don’t have much to report.  It was a fun evening of socializing with friends and colleagues, and making new contacts.  LA-based flash animation studios Six Point Harness, Animax, and Renegade joined NY-based flash animation studios Augenblick Studios, World Wide Biggies, Animation Collective, World Leaders Entertainment, and Curious Pictures.  Each gave a small speech about their company.  Most I spoke with hoped the networking events would continue in NY, perhaps twice a year.
