You’re invited to ASIFA East’s 51st Animation Awards Ceremony!  Join us for our animation celebration on Sunday, May 23rd at 6:00pm EST.  Please RSVP here for free tickets! This year our show will be held virtually, although we can’t wait to see you all again in person real soon!  

Awards will be presented for best in independent animation, commissioned work, experimental and student films, as well as the special craft categories of animation, writing, sound, design, and education.  There will also be a special presentation of honors by Women In Animation.  A screening of the award-winning films will follow.

Debuting in 1969, the ASIFA-East Animated Film Festival is one of the longest running festivals of its kind. Each year, entries are submitted and judged during special jury screenings. Only current ASIFA-East members are permitted to vote, and winners are chosen by tally and are confirmed by the board. Due to pandemic complications, there will be no best in show this year.
