Animation Torrent: Call for entries!
Hey everyone! A brand new festival is launching and they want your entries!
The inaugural Animation Torrent invades Park Ridge, IL at the historic Pickwick Theatre on April 17, 2014 for one night only; featuring two programs of fresh and alternative, independent animated shorts. The first program will cater to a more general audience, with content not exceeding what you’d find in a PG-13 film; while our second screening will feature films for a “late night” audience, with adult-themed humor and content. We’ll have a little something for everyone.
The selected films will compete for “Best Student Short”, “Best In Show” and an “Audience Award”. We’re very excited that the two “Best of” categories will be determined by a varied panel of judges; Bill Plympton, PES and Tom Fulp (founder of Newgrounds.com).
