Job Posting: Full Time Designer

Out of the Blue is an award-winning, market leader in children’s content development, production, licensing and merchandising with a proven track record for success (www.outoftheblueenterprises.com). We are looking for a full-time designer (specializing in photoshop and illustrator) to provide design support on our existing and new properties, including Super Why and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.

Duties:

• Assist Creative Director in all facets of design relating to television, digital, marketing and consumer products
• Create vector illustrations/art to be used in online style guides for children’s television and media brands
• Design elements/assets in photoshop and/or illustrator for use in mobile games for kids
• Perform Creative Approvals for licensees of preschool properties for toy, apparel, publishing and other categories.
• Other design support for children’s media company

Skills and qualifications:

• Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Experience designing for children
• Experience designing for online, mobile and/or interactive games a plus
