For all you aspiring writers – here’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about writing for children’s television from our writer friend, Pammy Salmon!

As part of the West Side Y’s “Writer’s Voice” program, I will be teaching Writing for Children’s TV: The Spec Script. Students will learn how to write a “spec” script based on an existing show to gain an understanding of the genre, have a writing sample necessary for the industry, and let’s face it, most of a writer’s career is spent writing for others, so you must learn to find a show’s voice.

All level of writers welcome.
