Taxes for Artists and Freelancers with Steven Zelin, The Singing CPA
On February 3rd, 2015, ASIFA-East welcomed back Steven Zelin, The Singing CPA, for a rousing workshop centered around taxes for artists and freelancers. We hold this workshop every year and there’s always a variety of questions to be asked. Attendees come from all backgrounds, but mostly the arts and enjoy singing along to Steven’s funny song parodies about taxes. Since we’ve done this workshop before, I will post a link to last year’s article so you can learn more about what Steven covers. The biggest change this year is the Affordable Care Act’s effect on 2015 taxes – you can read more up on this here: http://www.investmentnews.com/article/20150107/FREE/150109960/unpleasant-surprise-on-form-1040-for-obamacare-participants.
