Jake Friedman Book Event

February 10 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

ASIFA-East is pleased to bring you a special book event. Author and animation historian Jake Friedman will be discussing his new book, THE DISNEY AFTERNOON: THE MAKING OF A TELEVISION RENAISSANCE, with ASIFA-East Festival co-chair Tristian Goik. Jake’s book covers the development in the 1980s of the Disney Afternoon Television programming, which premiered in 1990, and gave way to many classic animation series. Jake will also present some rare glimpses into the Disney Strike and offer some exclusive surprises!

If you would like a copy, please let us know so we can pre-order.

The Book Event will take place:
