It’s time to sit back and relax for another hefty batch of 16mm (no digital!) animated cartoons from the 1920s to the 1940s, straight from the Stathes Archives to the silver screen at Shoestring Press…
Program #65 takes place just in time for Peter Cottontail’s big day! It’s a fluffy feather-filled battle between some of the cutesy animal characters now associated with Easter—in this case, bunnies and ducks—for your attention and affection. Whether it’s Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, or any number of other one-shot and obscure characters…who will win? Hop on down and bring your fellow wascally wabbits out for a holy resurrection of ancient cartoon hoots and hollers.
Featuring live ragtime bunny hopping by Charlie Judkins for select silent-era shorts!
Show tix $10 at the door.
Light beverage refreshments available. BYO food, too!
Doors at 8pm; show starts promptly thereafter. ~Arrive on time for good seats~
