Some exciting news from our friends at the Hungarian Cultural Center of New York! The Animated Spirits Film Festival will happen next week on April 8 and 9, at the Austrian Cultural Forum and at the School of Visual Arts SVA theater. Curator Annaida Orosz is the co-chair of the Hungarian ASIFA Chapter. The Festival brings some of the most exciting, recent animation from Europe across the Atlantic to New York. Artists from 11 European Union countries ‘illustrate’ the spirit of experimentation. Both screenings will be followed by a discussion with experts of the field. Initiated and organized by Balassi Institute, Hungarian Cultural Center, New York in partnership with the Austrian Cultural Forum, NY and with the participation of 8 European national institutes of culture.
