“BREAKING NEWS! I’m going to re-open the Plympton School of Animation for a two-month intensive course, starting in January. Starting on January 9, 2017, every Monday night from 6-8 pm, I’ll hold lectures at my studio about every phase of making short animated films, with drawing lessons and tips that I’ve learned from my 50-year career as an illustrator and filmmaker.
The curriculum will cover story ideas, storyboarding, character design, humor, the “Plympton Dogma”, post-production, festivals, distribution and crowd-funding, with guest lectures from my staff – so we’ll cover everything.
Capacity is very limited – for more information, please read the details and contact info posted on my blog (URL is below). But participants will get a signed degree and the experience needed to make their own animated films!
For anyone who can’t make it to New York to attend the course in person, we are also offering an online version. Details and contact info are posted on my blog
