There’s another hefty batch of 16mm (no digital!) animated cartoons from the 1910s to the 1940s\, straight from the Stathes Archives to the silver screen at Shoestring Press\, in store for all… \nIn celebration of the much maligned Friday the 13th\, we’ll be kicking 2017 off with all kinds of ancient cartoon accidents\, tragedies\, supestitions\, bad luck\, and anything else that falls into the category of an animated “hot mess.” Bring your friends\, but make sure not to break any mirrors or walk under any ladders on the way over. \nThe delightful poster for this event was designed by Katie Fricas.
